‘Love builds bridges where there are none’ is the slogan for a weekend camp for bereaved children and teens, and takes place in the 15th Annual Camp Bridges Weekend at Circle Square Ranch in Austin. It's held on May 26, 27 and 28.

Activities are designed to help youth share grief as well as honour memories in a caring community environment. Campers are provided with a safe, supportive and fun environment where they learn that they are not alone in their grief and are free to share their thoughts and feelings with peers who are going through a similar experience. This camp is intended to complement existing bereavement services for children and teens by providing a weekend of "caring and sharing".

You can give donations to cover the cost of camp rental, meals and activities, so that campers can attend at no cost.

If you'd like to donate, or learn more about the camp, you can contact their regional Palliative Care representative.

Volunteers are also welcome to help make a difference in their lives.
