The Portage and District Arts Centre had another busy year in 2015.

Executive Director Lori Blight outlines some of the highlights.

"We actually hit our projected revenues. Our expenses were a little bit down, so we did have a small surplus this year. Our programming continues to grow and expand, we introduced some new classes this year that we've never had here before. And also, we've had a big demand for childrens' programming, so we were able to get an instructor who's teaching ages 3 to 5."

Blight says they saw improvements on the business side of things as well.

"We finally got our point-of-sale system up and running. We did have a grant for that from the Portage Mutual Insurance Company, so as of June 1, we went live with our point-of-sale system. That was a huge accomplishment to get that up and running."

Blight adds they had a fantastic line-up of exhibitions, as well as great response for their kids dance programs.
