Update: The lone occupant of the truck involved in the collision has been taken to the hospital in stable condition. The driver of the semi is without injuries and was released on scene. 

Original: A two-vehicle collision has occurred at the intersection of highways 1 & 16.  Police, EMS, and the Portage la Prairie Fire Department are on the scene. There is no further information at this time.
