The final performance of the Prairie Players' Let Them Howl and Flashback to You took place Saturday night.

This was Doreen Wiebe's first play with the group and she shares her experience.

"I was very nervous at first. The cast and the director and everyone involved has been very helpful; giving me tips, encouraging me, making me feel at home. I've really enjoyed it."

Vicki Hooke played the part of Nellie McClung in Let Them Howl and says it's very exciting to be on stage. She notes it can be a little nerve-wracking just before you go on, but the lights and the audience's reactions make it all the more fun and exciting.

For Robert Martin, this was his second play with the group, he says it's been amazing to be a part of the production.

"The cast and crew have been just phenomenal to work with. This is my second play with Prairie Players, the first one I did was quite a few years back now; A Christmas Carol. So I've gotten to do some acting with some of the cast before, it's just like being in a big family."

He notes his favourite part of the experience was playing the role of Mr Crowley with the Society for the Prevention of Ugliness, a scene which drew much laughter from the audience.

Both plays received positive audience reactions, and plenty of laughter, notably during Friday night's performance when close to 200 people came out to see the show.
