There's Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) action at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie. The Portage Terriers welcome the Virden Oil Capitals for their annual Louis Riel afternoon game.

The Terriers lost both games to Selkirk over the weekend. Virden is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to Steinbach. Today's match is the final meeting of the regular season between the two teams. The season series is 3-2 in favour of Portage, with the Dogs winning the last meeting back on January second 3-2. The Terriers have six games, including today's, left before playoffs.
