The PCI Trojans were in West Winnipeg Athletic Conference volleyball in Portage. The junior varsity Trojans fell in straight sets to St. Paul's. "We did good, we just couldn't finish the sets," says PCI setter Aiden Muirhead. "We just didn't finish strong, and we need to get better passes so we can get better hits."

The varsity Trojans didn't fair much better than their junior varsity companions, falling in straight sets to St. Paul's as well. Trojans' Head Coach Trevor Shackleton says it was still a great performance from his club.

"I thought our attacking was really good, and our passing. Our passing was probably the best it's been this year, so that really helped. We're really happy, our first two sets we lost 25-22 and 25-21 and we were right there."

PCI's junior varsity clubs are in Winnipeg to face Westwood tonight. The JV Trojans are up first at 5,The Saints follow at 6:30.

In Zone 4 exhibition hockey the PCI Trojans fell 5-3 to the WC Miller Aces in Altona. Trojans' Matt Boychuck, Tanner Boyle, and Cole Butler all had goals in the loss. The Trojans head to Morris this weekend for a tournament.

The Westpark Royals' varsity clubs are on the court today in Portage. Both the Royals' girls and boys clubs host Rosenort. The girls kick things off at 5:30 and the boys follow at 7.

In Zone 7 High School volleyball, the William Morton Collegiate Warriors' varsity volleyball clubs host Carberry tonight. The girls are up first at 5 p.m. and the boys go at 7.

MacGregor's girls volleyball teams are also in Zone 7 action. The varsity girls are up first at 5, the JV Mustangs follow at 7 p.m.
