The Central Plains Capitals host the Norman Wild tonight in Manitoba Female Midget AAA Hockey at the BDO Centre.

The Caps are coming off two big wins over Interlake, winning the first 9-1 and the second 8-1. The Caps are currently in 4th place with 27 points, 2 points back of first place Westman, and 1 point back of Pembina Valley and Yellowhead. The Wild are in second last, with only 2 season wins under their belt.

Caps' forward Mekaela Fisher isn't too familiar with the Wild, but is confident if they play their game it should work out to a win.

"I haven't played them that much this year because I've been out, but I know they're really hard forecheckers, especially on the powerplay. We just have to be really defensively prepared, and we have to work the way our team can and all be in."

The Caps and Wild face-off at the BDO Centre at 7 p.m.
