Portage la Prairie is currently alive with the vibrant sounds of the 9th annual Whoop and Hollar Folk Music Festival. Linda Omichinski, the festival's coordinator, is thrilled with the event's energy and the crowd's enthusiasm for the music.

“We're giving a gift to Portage la Prairie.” Linda noted, “We’re letting them experience what Whoop and Hollar is all about. What folk music, different genres are all about.”

The festival's charm continues to grow as it moves to Island Park, at the Ukrainian Bandstand, for a community outreach event today.

Adding flavor to the festivities, local food vendors are serving up treats, making the experience even more delightful.

Don't miss the chance to be a part of this magical event, where music and community intertwine to celebrate the essence of folk culture.
