Summer is just around the corner, and I'm sure you're going to have AT LEAST one or two hot dogs before the leaves hit the ground in the fall.

But, when it comes to cooking the delicacy, the correct way to do it remains unknown.

We asked our listeners that question on the Mix 96 Facebook page, and here are some of the responses we saw:

Rachel Saltise: Campfire is the absolute best. But in the house I fry them in a pan, close enough. First I carve lines into them to make them more fun.

Heather Leckie: Bake ‘em. Roast ‘em. Grill ‘em. Fry ‘em. Boil ‘em. Bring me hotdogs and keep them comin’. Lol.

Stephan Lesage: Boil, place it into a bun with cheese, wrap it snuggly with tin foil and let it sit in the oven for about 10 mins. Remove unwrap and enjoy!!!!!

Dave Darichuk: On the BBQ, mustard, relish, onions for sure. Sauerkraut optional. Depends on my mood! Thanks, now I know whats for supper!!

Lori Penner: Of course over a campfire and grilled to a char with lots of mustard!

And how could we forget this gem...

Travis Roberts: Um, cold out of the fridge, obviously.
