Thunderstorms rolled through southern Manitoba yesterday and some lasted through the night bringing significant rainfall amounts to some parts of the region. There were numerous watches and warnings and a thick fog from the moisture blanketed the area most of the night into the morning. Here are some of the rainfall amounts in millimeters..........
Beausejour - 90.0mm (close to 20mm fell after midnight)
Vivian - 83.3mm (3.3 inches - located south of Beausejour)
Elie - 68.4mm (2.7 inches)
Winnipeg (airport) - 58.8mm (almost 2.4 inches)
Portage la Prairie - 56.7mm (almost 2.3 inches)
St. Adolphe - 53.2
Starbuck - 44.3
Stonewall - 40.0
Richer - 36.0
Bagot - 32.4
Gladstone - 27.9
Teulon - 24.5
Plumas - 22.6
Elm Creek - 20.0
Lake Francis - 21.7
Carman - 8.0

For the most part, it was heavy rain, but some hail did fall in the area around Roseisle.
