A young Sandy Bay First Nation resident placed a 911 call, which led to the arrest of an inebriated male.

Manitoba First Nations Police Services Inspector Dave Scott has further details surrounding the incident, which happened on April 17 at about 11 at night.

"A 911 call was received where a small child was heard on the line, as well as males arguing in the background. Manitoba First Nations Police officers responded and located a highly intoxicated male who was arrested for mischief and lodged in cells until sober."
