The Portage Collegiate Saints have been having an impressive season in the Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League. They sit with a record of 9-5-4 so far this year and are fifth in the league standings.

With their success, they received three selections to this past weekend's All-Star Day. Defender Rhiannon Ice was named to the all-star team for the second straight season. Forwards Tryniti Mercier and Ashley Lamblez were named to the Veterans Game with other grade 12 players from all three divisions.

Mercier has put up six total points this season. Lamblez has seven. Ice, on the other hand, has averaged nearly a point per game scoring 16 points in 18 outings.

Mercier was the only one of three who registered a point in the game as she assisted on her team's final goal.

The PCI Saints have just four more regular-season games before the playoffs begin. They will be looking to heat up down this final stretch starting tomorrow (Thursday, January 23) as they battle the SJR Eagles.
