The Portage Terriers finish off the MJHL pre-season undefeated.

They took down the Neepawa Natives 4-1. This was their second victory against the Natives in the pre-season as they also beat them at Stride Place 2-0 on Friday.

The Terriers scored just over three minutes into the first period, setting the tone early. Neepawa came back less than a minute later to tie the game 1-1. From that point on it was all Terriers as Joey Moffatt scored, what would turn out to be, the game-winning goal just six minutes into the game. Kolton Shindle, Sheldin Howard, and Cody Thompson also scored.

Logan Calder had a very solid outing, dishing out two assists including one on Moffatt's game-winning goal.

Nathan Moore got the win in goal.

The Terriers are happy with the outcome of the pre-season, but now have their sights set on the regular-season opener. That game will be Friday, September 20th as the Winnipeg Blues invade Stride Place at 7:30.
