UPDATED 7:40 a.m.

The drive to work's been disrupted this morning, thanks to yesterday's Alberta Clipper.

The Trans Canada Highway between Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg was been closed yesterday morning, but we're hearing it's re-opened, at least eastbound.

Wwe've also heard from someone in Headingley trying to return to Portage, and we're told westbound traffic on the Trans Canada isn't moving.

Highway 2 between St. Claude and Starbuck was also closed yesterday, and we've heard nothing about that stretch of highway re-opening.

Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation reports mainly snow-covered and partly covered conditions are what you can expect driving, as well as reduced visibility because of the strong winds.

Environment Canada's calling for the snow to taper off this morning, but the winds will continue for a while.

Updates are here.

It's also crowded eastbound on Saskatchewan Avenue
