Recreation Opportunities for Kids (ROK) Central is looking for more board members so they can look at more programs.

Vienna Muise is the executive director and says you could be who they are looking for.

"Generally, you want anywhere from two to three years. People are welcome to stay longer, but it's a two to three year commitment, for sure," says Muise. "We're looking for maybe an hour to two a month, as far as meetings are concerned. We have our monthly board meetings, usually, every third Tuesday of the month. Sometimes that changes just with people schedules, but that's what we're looking for."

She says they'd love to talk to potential board members so each side could see if it's a good fit. Muise says they can use the help.

"It could be a variety of things. It depends on their background, really," says Muise. "Right now, one of the people we're looking for, is someone with a financial background. So, budgeting background -- somebody with a fundraising background, maybe."

ROK Central's next event will be October 30th at Heritage Square from 1-4 p.m.
