RCMP responded to a robbery that was reported on December 15th, 2016 at 5:36 a.m. in Long Plain First Nation.

Tulip Taxi dispatched a driver to a home in Portage la Prairie, picked up four women and proceeded to drive them to a residence at Long Plain First Nation.

Upon reaching the Yellowquill Trail on Long Plain First Nation, the occupants assaulted the driver, stole the vehicle and fled the scene. Police found the vehicle abandoned a short distance from where it was stolen. As a result of their investigation, the Portage la Prairie RCMP have arrested and charged one suspect with robbery.

The investigators are asking for assistance from the community to identify another suspect, depicted in this composite sketch.
