Manitoba RCMP are saying a shooting that happened on Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation was not a random incident.

Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) were called around 6:30 Tuesday morning after a report came in of a shooting outside of a home. A 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. MFNPS contacted the RCMP for help, and the RCMP Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, and the Emergency Response Team have been in the community investigating ever since.
