Portage la Prairie RCMP are asking for your assistance in identifying suspects in a violent home invasion from 2010.

On March 31, 2010, at 4:15 a.m. the Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress in the 100 block of 6th Street SE. Officers found two elderly residents who were seriously injured by an unidentified male suspect. The suspect fled from the scene with countless valuable items, and left the victims helpless in their home.

This is an historic crime which shocked the community when it occurred. Investigators are certain that someone knows who is responsible for this vicious crime. Police are hopeful that someone might now have the courage to come forward and help bring closure to the victims and their family.
