Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle being driven into a residence last Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred at 12:18 a.m. on November 22nd. Officers attended the residence located on Spruce Bay, in Portage, where they discovered that a 15-year-old boy from Portage had been the vehicle's driver.
Officers have determined that the 15-year-old was driving northbound on Spruce Bay when he failed to make a right-hand turn and collided with the residence.
The 15-year-old boy was reportedly arrested for impaired driving and transported to the hospital for observation.
The RCMP notes that the investigation continues with charges pending.
