The province's new brand, "Spirited Energy", hasn't met with widespread enthusiasm since it was announced last week. Two million dollars was spent to come up with the name. 

Portage MLA David Faurschou feels now that the decision's made, we need to work with it. He hopes businesses will incorporate "Spirited Energy" into their advertising and promotional campaigns.

Faurschou admits to concerns about whether the slogan will catch on outside this province. 

He's also heard from a number of area residents, and describes their reaction as cautiously optimistic.
