Premier Brian Pallister's recovering from a hiking accident he suffered last week, while vacationing in New Mexico.

He was on a long, solitary hike, when he fell, and broke his left arm, as well as receiving a number of cuts and bruises. It was a compound fracture, which may or may not require surgery.

Pallister's wife reported him missing, and the New Mexico State Police launched a search, which found him soon afterward.

Pallister's returned home, and is resting.
