Portage RCMP locate Long Plain First Nation man with an outstanding warrant 

Portage la Prairie RCMP have arrested a 20-year-old man who had been wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Chance Daniels was placed under arrest by police on October 26th in the 100 block of 20th street SW in Portage.

During the arrest, Daniels was found to have bear spray and a substance suspected of being Cocaine found on him.

The 20-year-old was charged with Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purposes, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon When Knowing Possession is Unauthorized, Possession of Cocaine and thirteen charges from his outstanding Warrant of Arrest.

Police say that Daniels appeared in court the following day and was released on Court Ordered Conditions.
