The Portage la Prairie RCMP is looking for information regarding a theft in a business in Portage.

Reports say on September 25th, just after 10 p.m., Portage RCMP received a report of a theft from a business in the 100 block of Saskatchewan Avenue East. The suspect tried to steal multiple items from the business but employees were able to retrieve the items, except for a laptop, before he fled.

He then took the laptop and drove off in a beige Buick SUV. Anyone with information about the situation is asked to contact the Portage la Prairie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
