The City of Portage could soon be participating in a project which will put beverage container recycling bins in a number of public places around town.

Councillor Orville Wagner says the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association and Multi-Materials Stewardship Manitoba want to implement a pilot project in a community which already has a recycling program in place, and Portage certainly fits the criteria.
