A pickup truck rolled into the ditch Wednesday afternoon just east of Portage on the TransCanada highway. Portage Fire Department Captain Dave Sproat says they received a 911 call.

"A call came by 911 about a motor vehicle accident on Highway 1 and 30 West.. A vehicle was in the ditch. It had rolled over. It had a quad in the back. I don't know a lot of details about how or why it got there. There was one lone occupant of the vehicle."

Sproat adds nobody was seriously harmed.

"He was able to get out himself with only minor injuries. He was traveling westbound on Number 1. He hit the road abutment and clipped his truck. And the truck and the quad ended up in the opposite ditch on the other side of the median. It was a Ford F-150."
