The PCI Saints won 4-3 tonight against the Oak Park Raiders at Stride Place, in the Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League.

Coach Jo-Anne Clark- Gillespie's glad the team played a 'complete' game, with every player taking part.

"We're really happy with the whole team playing. This is now three games complete. We talked about it four games ago, how we won that close game and we only played part of the game, and so for the last three games we've had three complete periods in each game, and this is our fourth in a row. And it's four different goal scorers, so it's not just relying on a couple people it's everybody contributing," Gillespie says.

Gillespie also attributes the win to strong defense picking up assists, and those four goal scorers, Cassidy George, Paige Shwaluk, Madison Ballantyne and Maegan Inman, who scored a highlight goal with an end to end rush for the third goal. She says she's a strong defensive player.

The win wouldn't have been possible either without their goalie, Morgan Klassen, who Gillespie says looks really strong this year.

"She made some really good second saves, where she was sliding from across, and she was really calm and holding the puck... When we were two people short she came up big with some big saves... she's really good at squaring the puck and controlling rebounds", says Gillespie.

The Saints' next game is this Friday in Winnipeg against the Dakota Lancers.
