The Portage MLA says the premier is once again playing politics with motoring Manitobans.

David Faurschou isn't impressed with the ndp government's plan to dip into the rainy day fund to repair the province's roads, even though last year's surplus is expected to be higher than previously anticipated.

Faurschou expects more than what he calls a "band-aid solution."  He feels the NDP neglected Manitoba's roads, only budgeting a little over 250 million dollars a year for repair when over 350 million is really needed.

He believes the plan is an act of desperation.
