The Manitoba First Nations Police charged a man in Long Plain First Nation for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

This occurred back on March 21. Inspector Dave Scott provides more details.

“Our members were checking a vehicle at a high rate of speed,” says Scott. “The members noted that the driver would not stop. He then turned into a driveway and stopped and the members checked the status of the vehicle and license of the driver. The 53-year-old man from Long Plain was charged with driving without a valid license.”

Scott notes the man will face a fine of nearly $300.
