The Portage Women's Open was held on Sunday and Club Pro, Gordon Crossman, says everything ran smoothly thanks in part to the weather cooperating and an excellent turnout; roughly 72 golfers made their way around the course. In addition to the excellent golf, the Open also offered excellent prizes and a great meal.

Lindsey Jordan shot a 75 and was the overall winner at the Ladies Open. Cora McCartney won the first flight (95), Wendy Blight took the second flight (106) and the third flight went to Arlene Lalonde (115).
