Tonight the Portage Islanders took on the Winkler Royals at Stride Place. The Islanders left the ice with an 11-0 shutout. With the Portage goalie Riley Sviestrup playing a full 60 minutes and saving 23 shots from Winkler, and the Royals goalie receiving 47 shots and letting 11 in. Islanders GM/player Jeremy Brooks, explains his feelings on tonight's game.

"It was a slow start but we were happy to get our feet back under us," Brooks says. "We kind of have been trailing off the last couple of games so it feels great to get back into the win column."

When asked what he thinks needs to change or stay the same to pick up another win, Brooks had this to say;

"I don't think much needs to change really," Brooks claims. "I think that we are playing good hockey and we've had a couple of unfortunate breaks. As long as we stick to our game plan and play as a team as well as having fun with it and keeping the chemistry rolling, then we'll be alright for the rest of the season."

And the final period having the goals from Jamie Mousseau with assists from Jon Gaudet and Rene Hunter as well as Adam Blight with help from Tyler Durdle and Daryl Flett.
