From a blizzard warning, to a winter storm warning, to a rainfall warning, to a wind warning, Portage la Prairie saw it all over the last few weeks.

This weekend alone was the wettest and windiest.

Local weather observer Henry Romance was watching the precipitation closely, and says he started counting Friday morning. Snow turned to rain around 7 a.m., continuing all day Saturday, before ending Sunday morning around 6 a.m. At 7 a.m., the snow started to fall, and the wind started to blow.

Wind gusts were recorded above 60 kilometres per hour all day Sunday, reaching a max speed of 81 around 3 p.m.
