Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is predicting a fairly mixed bag this week, with rain, cloud and sunshine in the forecast throughout the week.

ECCC Meteorologist Stephen Berg notes that things could get started with some precipitation as soon as Monday night.

"Clouds are expected to build in and then bring some more rain and risk of a thunderstorm overnight, with potential for anywhere from 10 to 20 millimeters into Tuesday."

He adds we could see more rain on Wednesday, which will see the temperatures hover just below 20° before the weather warms up to end the week.

"Then things clear out and the temperatures start to rise for the weekend coming up. We'll have highs in the mid-to-high 20's. At the moment, (we're predicting) a high of 27 for Saturday and Sunday, and a mix of sun and cloud in that area."
