Project Patio is gearing up to check out the Cruisin’ the Fort show at the Fort la Reine Museum this Sunday.

Board member, Ray Askin comments he is expecting a good turnout for the annual event. He explains there will be prizes and food available at the car show that will keep everyone pleased. The car owners appreciate people coming out to talk and give a smile.

“3 food trucks are coming; this should be good. Many vintage vehicles to enjoy. Lots of great prizes as well that get handed out and you want to make sure that all the people that have those classic cars know about this event.”

He is hoping for good weather for the show, as that is the best way for owners to truly show off their cruisers. Last year, many car enthusiasts came out from surrounding areas in Manitoba, so Askin believes everyone will have their cruiser all shined up.

Project Patio will share the winners of various best-vehicle-related prizes and take pictures of the winning cars. Askin shares that there are many awards to give away.

“For events we have the mayor's choice, best Ford, best Chevy, best Dodge, best imports or tuners, and the best motorbikes too. Last year there were even a few interesting electric vehicles.”

All are welcome to come down and check out some vintage cruisers at the Show and Shine Car Show, Project Patio will be there collecting interviews and names for our big end-of-summer draw. Don’t miss this year’s Cruisin’ the Fort Car Show!

We hope for another beautiful day to see those cars shine, Askin is also excited to be able to show off his car. Here are some of the pictures of the cars at last year’s event.
