Emergency services were on scene Wednesday morning in Portage la Prairie when a man was hit by a car.

Around 8:35 a.m., a car turned onto Saskatchewan Avenue from the south, and clipped a man who was working in the construction zone. It's unknown how fast the vehicle was going at the time, but the side mirror clipped the man, and the mirror broke off.

He suffered minor injuries. No other information is available at this time. RCMP are reminding everyone to be extra careful when driving in the construction zone.
