The Community Foundation of Portage and District are wanting to hear from Portagers regarding the needs of the community.

Executive director Mandy Dubois says they've partnered up with the Portage Community Revitalization Corporation (PCRC) so they can figure out what type of programs to create in the future. She goes into detail on how important this survey is to them.

"Both organizations want to find out what the needs and opportunities are within our community," notes Dubois. "So, that when we're making decisions about granting dollars to nonprofits and other organizations, we can determine what will make the biggest impact."

She adds the survey, which started on June 6th, touches on housing, health, arts, recreation, and more. also comes with incentives for those who take part. Dubois goes into detail saying the earlier you do the survey, the better chance you have to win a prize.

"As an added incentive, if you complete this survey you will be entered into a draw for a $100 gift card to a local business," explains Dubois. "There are five draws total and there's still 3 draws to be had, and so the earlier you do the survey, the more chances you have to win and your feedback will help."
