The Canadian Senior Games are less than two months away and preparations are on schedule.

Co-Chair Lynn Switzer says Portage has opened it's doors to competitors. He expected billeting to be the biggest challenge of the games but those arrangements are almost complete.

He adds the Canadian Government is supporting the games for the first time. The games will run from August 30th to September 2nd with a parade starting it off on August 30th.

Manitoba will have almost 300 competitors.
