All four Team Toba’s archers found the podium for the second day in a row at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island.

Ryder Wilson of Selkirk and Emily Love of Winnipeg earned silver in the recurve mix team event.

Chyler Sanders and Ryan Cherniak of Winnipeg won captured bronze in the compound mix team event.

Team Toba’s medal count is 19 with six gold, six silver and seven bronze.

Captain Danika Botterill, Kahlen Wisener and Keara Parker scored two goals each as Manitoba defeated New Brunswick 10-2 in the seventh place game in Female Hockey.

Manitoba’s Male Curling team of Jace Freeman, Elias Huminicki, Rylan Graham & Jack Steski lost 5-2 to BC in the quarterfinals.

Sophia Jekat of East St. Paul finished 30th and Emily Cuvelier of Winnipeg was 33rd in Female Alpine Skiing Ski Cross.

Lance Verrier of Winnipeg finished 36th and Austin Clarkson of Brandon was 51st in Male Alpine Skiing Ski Cross.

Hezekiah Hoeppner of Thornhill, Kate Sawatzky of Altona, Mia Sawatzky of Altona and William Vanden Berg of Winkler finished 11th and Gideon Hoeppner of Stanley, Isaiah Vanden Berg of Winkler, Naomi Wiens of Morden and Hannah Wintoniw of Winnipeg finished 22nd in Cross Country Skiing 4 x 5 km Free Relay Mix.

The Closing Ceremonies will follow the medal presentations in Alpine Skiing, Badminton, Male & Mixed Doubles Curling and Female Hockey.
