Security has become an issue at Portage's Avenue Honda and Polaris.

General manager Kirk Gyselinck calls it ridiculous he has to tighten their loss prevention measures, after a quad was stolen yesterday from his property in broad daylight.

He's even more disappointed with the fact the thief may not be brought to justice, with the current court system in place.

Gyselinck along with other employees chased the thief down the back of the shop but were only able to get a vague description of the male.  He's described as 15 years of age, native in appearance, and was wearing a black hoodie.  Gyselinck admits he was caught off guard.

The stolen quad is a 2003 Polaris 500 Predator, silver in color with black and red accents.
