In the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League yesterday, Central Plains Capitals held a 3-1 lead over Winnipeg Bruins at the end of the first period at the BDO Centre, only to see it disappear.

The Bruins scored once in the second period, and twice in the third, en route to a 4-3 triumph.

Aidan Panko, Jaxon Blight, and Reilly Funk were the Caps' goal scorers. Riley Sveistrup took the loss in goal.

The Caps struggled on the power play, going scoreless in five opportunities. The Bruins scored twice in their eight power plays.

The Caps are on the road this afternoon, taking on Interlake Lightning at 2 o'clock, in Teulon.
