There was only one game in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League last night, the Saints needed overtime to get past the Addison Division's first place team. 

Zack McMillan scored 3 goals for the Saints last night including the overtime winner as the Saints got by Winnipeg South 6-5.  Matthew Gingera opened up the scoring in the first period and finished the contest with a pair of goals while Jason Yuel recorded a goal and two assists, one of those assists came on Zack McMillan's game winner.  Landon Kroeker had 40 saves in net for the Saints, Brant Hilton stopped 38 in the losing cause.  The Blues get a shot at revenge tonight when the two teams collide once again, gametime is 7:30 p.m.   Elsewhere tonight the Terriers play host to visiting Neepawa, the game marks the first game after the Christmas break for both teams and is the first in a home and home series.  In their last home and home series the dogs were embarrassed 7-1 at home, however they were able to hand Neepawa a 2-1 loss at Yellowhead arena in the second game.  Gametime for tonight's match up is 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Arena.  Tomorrow the Terriers are in Neepawa for the back half of the home and home, follow the links on Portage online to listen to the play-by-play beginning at 7:20 p.m. 

The Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings fell 3-2 in a shootout to the Saskatoon Blades at the Keystone Centre. Andrew Clark and Daniel Bartek scored for the Wheat Kings in regulation. Brandon went 0 for 3 in the shootout as Tyler Dittmer, Mark Derlago and Codey Burki failed to score on Blades netminder Braden Holtby.

The Manitoba Moose lost 3-2 in a shootout to the Hamilton Bulldogs. Nathan Smith and Alexandre Bolduc did the goal scoring in regulation for the Moose who are in third place in the American Hockey League's North Division with a record of 15-13-4-4. Manitoba will meet the Marlies in Toronto tonight.
