Earlier this month, Manitoba First Nations Police Service responded to a shooting in Sandy Bay First Nation. Winnipeg Police made an arrest in connection to the shooting, but two other suspects remain on the loose.

36-year-old Gregory James Lee Spence is in custody.

Spence was involved in shooting a man who was taken to hospital and is currently in stable condition. The man's home was entered by several suspects who assaulted him. Winnipeg Police arrested Spence who now faces several firearm and assault charges.

Two other men are still wanted in connection; 28-year-old Keith Douglas Racette and 31-year-old Jesse Myles St. Paul.
