Today at about mid afternoon a white small car was traveling west through the Portage Bypass at the east end of the city on the overpass when the driver passed a transport. The Portage Fire Department reports that snow suddenly showered the car and blinded the driver, who then went out of control and spun around. The driver hit the truck and came to a standstill at the median barricades, pointing in the opposite direction. The woman was taken to the hospital without any major injuries.
