Members of the Portage Credit Union and the Austin Credit Union have officially ratified the new name for the amalgamated business. CEO Dave Omichinski says both meetings on Tuesday night went very well and the members overwhelmingly supported approving "Stride Credit Union" as their new name. Omichinski notes they've been working with a marketing agency to finalize the new branding, adding they hope to have much of it in place by January first. He says this would, of course, include new signage, adding they'd like to have the new look out there as much as possible for the new year.

Omichinski notes some Portage Credit Union members are currently receiving new debit cards with the PCU name and logo still on them. He says they had many cards which were set to expire so they did have to replace them, adding they'll be looking at issuing member cards with the new "Stride" name on them early in 2017.
