It was another night of severe weather around southern Manitoba yesterday.

Portage la Prairie was hit with a severe thunderstorm that started around 6:30 p.m. Strong winds and rain pummelled the community, but only 10 millimetres of rain was recorded, and a small amount of debris or damage has been reported so far.

Crews working at clearing the tree on 8th St NE around 8:30 p.m.

A tree came down on 8th Street Northeast around 7:30, but the city had it all cleaned up in a couple of hours.

The branch down just off 5th Avenue

There was also a small tree down at 4th Street Southeast, and near 5th Avenue.
