Yellowquill School in Portage la Prairie had the crew from Rogers Hometown Hockey with them this afternoon. Students gathered from other schools there to see Paz perform with juggling hockey sticks, and two Terriers players with assistant coach Paul Harland who spoke and answered questions.

"What a great way to have the last day before Spring Break, and have all of our students involved," says principal Shawn Harkness. "With the limited space that we have, we couldn't invite every school. But North Memorial, Fort la Reine and La Verendrye School were able to make it out."

Paul Harland says he gave the kids a snapshot of what hockey did for him in providing the life skills he now uses in his career, and encouraged the kids to get involved if they're interested and give back to the community.

Ella is a Yellowquill student and she describes what the event was like for her: "Really fun, and I liked the guy who was juggling hockey sticks. Fun and exciting."
