The Pine Creek School Division's search for a new Superintendent continues.

"We've advertised and we're in the process of working on everything now," says School Board Chair Diedrich Toews. "My feeling is we'll inform the public right away if and when we get one, but we're sad to see Brian Gouriluk leaving but he's decided to retire."

Toews says Gouriluk's a pretty good guy, an innovator, and a leader in the community. He says it's been a great six or seven years he's been with the division.

"We've had people applying and the process is on," adds Toews. "It has to be rather confidential, and that's why we haven't made any announcements. We haven't finished the process but as soon as we finish the process we'll make sure the people know because we're very interested in getting a well-placed candidate."

He adds Gouriluk is retiring as of June 30th and they'd like to get someone in place before then.
