The Moosehorn flood protection project is moving forward in the RM of Grahamdale.  Reeve Clifford Halaburda says the engineering consultants have now put the plans together and council will be meeting this week with the folks from Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation.  Halaburda notes councillors will go over the entire plan to make sure the right materials are being used for this project, adding after that it will go out on contract to the public.  He says hopefully the project will be completed before freeze-up, but there is still quite a bit of work to be done and different agreements to be put in place.  Halaburda notes doing concrete work on frost is much more costly, so getting things wrapped up before the freeze will definitely save the municipality some dollars.
