A 44-year-old Portage la Prairie man is wanted by RCMP on several charges.

Mounties say in a release they are presently looking for Jonathan Jay Prince, who charged with assault and five counts of failing to comply with court imposed conditions. He is believed to be in the Portage la Prairie area.

“We don't believe he's a danger to anyone in the public. But we would encourage anyone who comes across a wanted person to keep their safety in mind and call police immediately,” says RCMP Const. Sean O'Keefe.

Prince is described as an indigenous male with a heavy build, standing 6-foot-1 tall and weighing approximately 185-pounds. He has brown eyes, short black hair, and a tattoo on his upper right arm.
