The RCMP says alcohol is believed to be a factor in a fatal rollover that occurred south of Bagot Sunday evening.

Police responded to the accident call just after 5:30 p.m. Easter Sunday, on Provincial Route 242, close to Road 60 North. Mounties say a 61-year-old North Norfolk man lost control of his SUV, which entered the ditch then rolled. The male driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt, the RCMP says.

An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investgation.
