The Member of Parliament for Brandon-Souris looks forward to the inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

Larry Maguire hopes the process although a long one will be a way of finding answers to the problem.

"This inquiry will take about 18 months to complete and we look for to the type of work that they will do in regards to getting to bottom of some of the concerns. This is a huge concern for government and all Canadians."

Maguire feels a good team has been put together to find solutions. "This inquiry needs to look into al aspects of the issue including police services and to make sure they have resources to do their job properly."

People across the country are encouraged to speak out on the issue. "It's about building trust and opening up and I think this process will allow people to do that so solutions to the problems can be identified and fixed."
